Tuesday pass - Henry Etzkowitz, Stanford University
To attend the conference tuesday 20th of March from 13.00-17.00 and experience Henry Etzkowitz give a presentation on his concepts The Triple Helix and The Entrepreneurial University and the future of innovation for the social sciences and humanities.
Afterwards the scene will be set for a panel debate. Ingrid Stage, Sara Gade Hansen, Morten Løkkegaard, Sverre Raffnsøe and Alan Irwin will help us explore the potential for social scientific and humanistic value creation in future business life.
Wednesday pass - Francesco Avvisati, OECD
Wondering who will be in need of what YOU can provide? Wednesday 21th of March 2012 from 9.00-0.15 analyst of the Centre for Education, Research and Innovation (CERI) at the OECD, Francesco Avvisati, will give a presentation on the demand for skills among people trained within the social sciences and humanities in the future OECD labour markets.
From 10.30-11.45 you may hear philosopher Klaus Kvorning Hansen and dramatist Bethina Louise Røge present their inspirational stories on how they have applied their humanistic competencies in the business world.
Workshop: How to employ your competencies
Finally, from 12.00-13.00 you may join us us for a presentation by Lars Frølund from AU’s Center for Entrepreneuship and Innovation followed by a session of discussing among smaller groups on how students can become more aware of their own competencies and how these can be developed and applied in a wider context.

Throughout the conference we will explore the concept of value creation through the lens of the humanities and social sciences and the role of these kind of skills in modern business life.
