Suitable for Business 2012 - March 20th-23rd
The conference will be held on the 20th - 23rd of March in the centre of Copenhagen. The first two days will be an interactive academic conference with great speakers, panel debates and workshops. After these days the business case competition will be launched and 12 teams from Scandinavia will have 32 hours to develop their contribution to a concrete business case. The conference will include students, academics and people from the business world.
Conference: Value Creation
The theme of the Suitable for Business 2012 conference is Value Creation. The conference will seek to identify the opportunities, potentials, and challenges in humanistic and social scientific value creation within the business world. Furthermore we hope that the conference can provide a platform for an inspiration debate on how and where people with a humanistic and social scientific background can contribute in the value chain of business.
At the case competition the teams will have 32 hours to deliver concrete solutions to a real-life business case. First, all the teams will present their solutions from where three of them will advance to the final round. The three best solutions will then be exposed to a public Q&A session with the jury, which will be comprised of some of the leading innovative business thinkers. Lastly, the winner will be announced and will receive the prize. There will be drinks and snacks at the networking reception afterwards.
